    The order status must be having value 0 as the sagepay system may not have returned the payment confirmation. 

    Emails only go when order status changes by payment gateway. 

    Plus we recommend you to setup gmail / mandrill email smtp service that helps you keep track of emails outgoing and delivery via their account panels.
