Probably a dumb question about PayPal integration.
Hi there...
I have set up a shop using OpenCart 3.
Now, when I attempt to link the "PayPal Commerce Platform" to the account, it seems to run through OK, then I go to save the settings, and get this error message:
"Authentication failed due to invalid authentication credentials or a missing Authorization header"
I cannot find any clear instructions in the FAQ about this error message and checked on my PayPal account for help - unfortunately the advise is as clear as mud and seems to refer to an earlier version of the software.
Any help appreciated.

Hello, Johnny,
There are different PayPal integration types in Opencart. The simplest integration which does not require any complicated setup is called 'PayPal Payments Standard'.
Try to configure it and use in the store, at least you will have a PayPal payment option at checkout.
Other integrations my have more complex setup and requirements.
Kind regards

Thank-you for the swift response.
In my Opencart installation, I only have "PayPal Commerce Platform" and "PayPal (powered by Braintree)" available?I looked for these other options earlier, but they aren't present. It's very strange.
edit:
I just downloaded the latest version again off the server here and in the payments folder there are only two PayPal 'php' files. So it looks as though the other PayPal options have been removed?
Hehe - I thought this would be straight forward.0 -
Hello, Johnny,
Wow, I did not know that. It seems PayPal Standard was removed in the latest 3.0.3.3 version. But you can restore it by installing this free extension:

Cheers dude - I'll install the extension and see how I get on.
edit:
OK, next brick wall - sorry about this.
I need to ship to the main 3 zones -
UK / Europe & Rest of World
I have been looking at shipping modules for an hour and have no idea how to configure this. In your experience, do I need to install another module? I looked at a tutorial on YouTube and it was absolutely useless.
Edit:
Apologies, I just realised you actually develop a module? I probably should have posted elsewhere, but the appreciate the help. I did post on the Open Cart forums, but found that place quite hostile, so I stopped posting.0
