EPOS style web pages with online database for records and management

Can anyone assist me in constructing an EPOS style web pages please?

It is for a membership and loyalty/incentive service with the details saved

on membership cards (e.g. mifare cards) supplied from a reader/writer.

All the records and management would be on the online database.

Security is essential for both the database and the remote local units.

It is envisaged to use a web server for the db online with remote back-up and

small form pc (rasb.pi etc?) with screen and reader/writer for the local units.  

Only persons who have done this EPOS and database work need respond please.
